We are building centres for girls in the slum which will provide high school education and Short entrepreneur Technical courses.

Where It all Began
Become the One Who is Considered a Hero
Global Vision Achievers Organisation (GVA) was initially formed as Kibera Vision Achievers Group on April 6th, 2012, and later registered on December 19th, 2013. It rebranded to GVA in November 2020. It started as a film and theatre group consisting of youth who used theatre presentations as a way of enhancing peace and unity in the slum community. This continued until 2015, when the members decided to change course and expand the scope of the organisation to reach more lives.
GVA became interested in working with underprivileged communities, specifically children, teen mothers, and orphans in the slum communities of Kibera, Mathare, Huruma, and other sprawling slums in Kenya. By partnering with community leaders and members, the organisation has developed programmes to serve these communities. GVA now operates projects nationwide, and continues to expand in underserved regions.
Since the year 2015, we have been training and showcasing the talents of children in orphanages in various platforms through events that we organize with the help of other partner associations and organizations.
Global Vision Achievers Organisation has recently grown beyond Nairobi and now has operational branches in both Kisumu & Mombasa.
